1. Scope

This charter applies to the website www.lechat.com and all transactions on the site. By accessing, browsing, identifying yourself on the site as well as subscribing to the Gazette du Chat, you acknowledge having read the charter and you accept all its terms. The charter is available at any time on www.lechat.com. You are welcome to print and keep a copy. The charter is available in English. 

2. User disclosure requirement

By identifying oneself on www.lechat.com and subscribing to the Gazette du Chat, the user agrees to carefully fulfil and provide Salut ! Ça va ? SA correct, accurate and complete data. If data is changed, the user agrees to update them so that they are always current, complete and accurate. The user agrees not to impersonate any other person or use a false name.

3. Amendement & suspension

Salut ! Ça va ? SA reserves the right to terminate the broadcast, modify or suspend immediately all or part of the website www.lechat.com without liability and without notice. 

4. Law on the Protection of Privacy

Salut ! Ça va ? SA undertakes to respect the provisions of the Law of 8 December 1992 on the protection of privacy with regard to data processing of personal data, as amended by the Act of December 11, 1998 implementing Directive 24 in October 1995 of the European Parliament and the Council on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data. 5. Data

Salut ! Ça va ? SA undertakes to use the data only for operational purposes. No personal data will be entrusted or made available to third parties.
The user, however, accepts to receive a newsletter (La Gazette du Chat) from Salut ! Ça va ? SA as long as he has not checked the box to stop receiving it (opt-out). Data will be retained for as long as the website is online.

6. Right of consultation, modification, correction and deletion

Each user has the right to access, modify, correct or have his personal data deleted. If you wish to exercise your right, please send an email to info@lechat.com.

7. Use of cookies

8.1. When registering, the user will have to provide a username and password that are personal and exclusive to him. His user name and password give him access to the site.

8.2. The user accepts that filling in his login and password are worth proof of his identity.

8.3. The user is solely responsible for the confidentiality of their username and password. Salut ! Ça va ? SA can in no way be held responsible for third party use of his login and password. The user is authorized to use his account for the family members living under the same roof.

8.4. The user should immediately inform Salut ! Ça va ? SA by sending an e-mail to Salut ! Ça va ? SA par e-mail à info@lechat.com info@lechat.com (i) about the unauthorized use of his username and / or password or (ii) about a security breach that could have noticed

8.5. If the user forgets his password, he can go to the website www.lechat.com/boutique under "My Account" and reset it by clicking on "Forgot password".

9. Intellectual property rights

9.1. The website www.lechat.com, its contents and any other material such as the presentation of the site (graphics, character, structure, mapping, etc.), cover photos, videos, animations, software, music, sounds, banners or advertising, logo (hereinafter collectively referred to as "original material") are protected by international laws and conventions on copyright and neighbouring rights. 10. Responsability

10.1. Salut ! Ça va ? SA cannot guarantee that the website www.lechat.com (i) meets the expectations or the specific requirements of the user or visitor, and that it (ii) will be uninterrupted or error free.

10.2. By express agreement, the user or visitor discharges Salut ! Ça va ? SA of any obligation of results regarding the performances of the website.

10.3. In no event can Salut ! Ça va ? SA be held responsible for any direct, indirect or accidental damages resulting from improper use of the website, a misunderstanding of the Internet and / or its use, or the download of other software or connection to a particular hardware to view the site.

10.4. The website may contain links or hyperlinks to other websites ("Linked Sites"). 12. Contract termination or cancellation

Salut ! Ça va ? SA may, notwithstanding any other rights arising from the present charter, by written notice, immediately terminate or suspend the service of La Gazette du Chat or restrict the access to the site if the user is in default to perform one of the obligations under this charter despite formal notice.

13. Notice or notification

13.1. Notices or notifications will be sent to a party to its address via e-mail.

13.2. Any change of address must be notified by the relevant party to the other party.

14. Autonomy

If one of the present conditions should be declared void or unenforceable, the remaining terms hereof shall remain in full force. This condition will apply to the extent permitted by law..

15. Renunciation / Waiver

Neither party shall be deemed to have waived the benefit of the terms of this charter without having expressly waived in writing (electronic or otherwise). 

16. Proof

The user, visitor or subscriber accepts that e-mail messages and log files are worth proof.

17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

The present charter is governed, construed and enforced in accordance with Belgian law; the Brussels Courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any dispute arising from the interpretation or application of this charter. By accepting this, the user certifies that all information provided is accurate and that he has read and accepted the present charter.
